Githanjali Public School, Coimbatore, proudly hosted the 47th Coimbatore Sahodaya Inter-School Poster Making Competition 2026–27 on 10th July 2026.
The competition, based on the theme “Earth 2050”, provided students with a platform to showcase their creativity, artistic skills, and vision for a sustainable future. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 524 students representing 82 CBSE schools across four categories – Group B (Grades 5 & 6), Group C (Grades 7 & 8), Group D (Grades 9 & 10), and Group E (Grades 11 & 12).
The event was inaugurated by Smt. Lavanya Srinivasan, B.Com., MBA., Artist, Entrepreneur and Educator, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The programme was presided over by CA Sri M. Alagiriswamy, Chairman, Githanjali Schools, in the presence of Smt. S. G. Kavita, Principal, Githanjali Public School, teachers, and participants.
The competition celebrated the power of art in creating awareness about environmental responsibility and encouraged young minds to express their ideas for a greener tomorrow. The winners, runners-up, and finalists were honoured with trophies, medals, and certificates during the valedictory ceremony.
