The Coimbatore Sahodaya Schools Complex’s Initiative on G20 Slogan Writing Competition hosted by Githanjali Public School, Peelamedu, Coimbatore held on Wednesday 14th June 2023. The competition was organized with an objective to create awareness among students to share the knowledge and understanding on India’s Presidency over G20 summit and to encourage students to creatively express their perspective on G20 in shaping a better global order. Theme given to the student was Vasudhaiva Kutumbakkam - One Earth, One Family, and One Future focusing on Global Interconnectedness. Students of Grade 9 and 10 participated in the Slogan Writing Competition in category A and B respectively. CBSE Schools from Coimbatore, Tirupur, Udumelpet, Pollachi, Dharapuram Dindigul, Annur, Mettupalayam registered for this competition. Over 191 students from 50 Schools participated, The event was inaugurated by Shri A.M Palaniswamy B.Com, F.C.A. Chairman of Aerospace Material Pvt. Limited who is an avid reader, born orator and has mastery over words. He inspired students by his motivating speech asking the students to be the saviour of this world by serving the humanity and giving back to the society. The competition achieved its objective of fostering creativity and raising awareness. Slogans crafted by the participants showcased their talent and reflected their deep understanding of G20’s Theme and mission and challenges faced by our world today. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the participants for their remarkable contribution and congratulate the winners for their outstanding achievement. We believe the G20 Slogan Writing Competition has served as platform to inspire change and left a lasting impact on all those who participated.
